Bristol duo Dolman are Scott Hendy (of Malachai on Domino Records) and Ben Salisbury (one half of DROKK with Portishead’s Geoff Barrow).
The latter also composes film and TV soundtracks, ranging from David Attenborough's Life of... series to Beyoncé’s recent self-directed documentary. It’s an influence that soars right out of their cinematic, often heart stopping music.
Latest single - The Rainbow - featuring vocals by Adele Emmas from the band Bird, is a great introduction to the pair’s music.It's a lush, epic ballad which has done much to make tastemakers sit up and take notice. Inflexion Point, their full album which emerged over the summer, is as ambitious as anything else out there and defines the word widescreen. It features further collaborations with other Bristol vocalists include Alison Garner of The Fauns on Flight 22, and Derek Meins AKA The Agitator on Uncanny Valley.
