Andrew Gordon Parry is the musical mastermind behind Liverpool dream-pop outfit AGP.
From solo electronic meanderings in his bedroom to gathering together a full-blown band, Andrew’s sonic acrobatics swing from Tame Impala to Atlas Sound.
Hooking up with Daniel Martindale (Danye), Alastair Dunn (AJHD) and Michael Paul Metcalfe (Dead Hedge Trio) in late 2016, they began transmitting hazy sonic distortions and perfect soundchip melodies together earlier this year.
Their first release was the woozy double A-side Hollywood / Motionsickness for War Room Records, which saw the quartet draw the dots between ambient soundscapes and shimmering shoegaze.

We first started writing music because…
I'd always loved singing and performing since I was very young, so did a lot of drama from quite a young age (I was an utter nightmare). I guess it felt a more honest way of performing than acting.
We have been making music since…
I've been making music the past 10 years, and releasing music under AGP for the past couple of years now.
But the band’s current format with Daniel Martindale (Danye), Alastair Dunn (AJHD) and Michael Paul Metcalfe (Dead Hedge Trio) started rehearsing together the end of 2016.
Our music is…
Kinda like dream pop. It's heavily influenced by shoegaze and has lots of psychedelic elements.

That's a hard question coz it's hard to imagine… Once I had a job making stickers that was pretty relaxing. I could do that again. Something creative.
In 10 years’ time we want to be...
Still playing, with a few record released by then, with tours under our belt and helping produce other artists. That's always been the aim.
