Upcoming folk singer-songwriter Brendan Rogers recently showcased his debut single Valentine at The Social in London. Joined by a tight group of musicians, Brendan wooed the crowd with his lulling melodies and fresh take on British and American folk traditions.
M met up with Brendan and his cellist Roland Anderson afterwards, to record an intimate performance and hear about his journey from a small make-shift studio in the foothills of the Alps to the prestigious Metropolis Studios in West London.
Brendan is busy putting together his debut album with sound engineer and producer Dom Morley, who worked alongside Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse on her award-winning album Back to Black.
