The independent charity Help Musicians UK has today (Monday) opened applications to the Transmission Fund, which supports artists creative practice and professional development.

The fund supports opportunities including short courses, workshops, training and short-term periods of mentoring through grants of £500 to £1,500.

Emerging and professional musicians of all genres and disciplines are eligible to apply, from instrumentalists to composers, producers, conductors, vocalists, singer-songwriters and extends to ensembles of six or less.

Applications are welcomed from musicians that are over 18 with exceptional ability in their field and are in financial need without significant backing.
