PRS for Music Refund Policy – Membership Applications
PRS for Music will only provide a refund if we are unable to complete your membership application.
Valid reasons for a refund are as follows:
- You are an existing member and you have submitted a new application in error.
- You are already a member of another society for the World and decided to stay with the original society.
- You change your mind and decide you no longer wish to join PRS or MCPS.
PRS for Music will only offer refunds onto the original payment method used for your application and refund requests need to be submitted within 14 working days of your application. Please note, most refunds will be processed within 3-5 working days of receipt, however it can take longer in some circumstances.

The email should contain the following information, so we can successfully process your refund:
- Existing CAE Number (If applicable)
- Refund Request From
- Application Number
- Application Date
- Refund Reason
