Community radio licence

PRS for Music and PPL offer a joint licence for community radio stations, which is available from PPL.

Who needs this licence

Community radio stations that are broadcasting on AM or FM, including online simulcasts.

What this licence covers

This licence covers the right to:

• broadcast music on AM/FM
• simulcast the AM/FM broadcast online or on small-scale DAB (optional)
• copy music for broadcast onto databases and servers
