About the John Lennon Double Fantasy Bermuda Tribute.

In June 1980, John Lennon sailed to Bermuda on a yacht for an extended vacation. The experience sparked his musical genius and within just 6 weeks he wrote and completed 25 songs, breaking a 5-year writer’s block. The resulting comeback album was entitled Double Fantasy, named for a flower he had seen in the Bermuda Botanical Gardens.

On Friday, September 21, 2012 Bermuda artists and international stars from around the world will honour John Lennon with a tribute concert held at the Botanical Gardens Show Ring. The evening will also include the release of the "LENNON BERMUDA" CD and the launch of the book "LENNON BERMUDA - John Lennon's Island Story".
