Technical and Solutions Architect CIO
Term: 6 month fixed term contract
Salary: £70,000 to £75,000 per annum

About the Role
The Technical & Solutions Architect will work alongside other architects, business partners, analysts, third parties, and the service support functions to design solutions that meet functional and cost requirements, while conforming to corporate standards and strategies.
You will actively support the Software Delivery Lifecycle, be accountable for assuring the implementation of IT solutions through to launch and that those delivered solutions conform to design documentation and standards and resolving any identified architectural issues. You will create, maintain, and govern architecture principles, standards, patterns, design and related artifacts and strategic roadmaps.
The salary for this position is £70,000 to £75,000 per annum plus benefits.

The successful candidate will have a broad and deep understanding of different IT systems and technologies across the enterprise and the ability to use this knowledge to design solutions across applications, data, security, operations, and technology. You will also have a broad and deep understanding of the security and operational aspects of system design.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle and supporting methodologies and experience troubleshooting complex IT issues.
You will have previous experience and track record of designing and delivering complex IT infrastructure solutions to budget and deadlines and experience designing solutions across on premise and cloud.
You are an excellent problem-solver by way of data analysis and supporting rationale. TOGAF certification is beneficial to succeeding in the role.
