Research Officer – Remote Working (12 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Salary: Circa £22,000 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
Term: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

We have an exciting opportunity for a Welsh speaking Research Officer to join our Service Management team on a 12 Month Fixed Term basis. The role is based remotely with an expectation to attend the London Bridge Hub once a month. 

Please note due the role being a full time remote-working position we will require a Home Assessment. This will consist of suitable workspace approved by PRS for Music for health and safety reasons. A formal job offer will only made once workspace pictures have been reviewed and approved - details will be provided and requested at shortlisting stage.

About the Role

We are looking for a Welsh speaking Research Officer with Classical Music expertise to work as part of a team to ensure that targets are met, and timely distributions are achieved across a variety of suppliers and contribute to the maximizing of revenues to members. 

To achieve this you will:

  • Analyse and interpret data, reporting inconsistencies or errors with a view to enabling constructive outcomes
  • Perform target-driven, high-volume, extensive research on music data reporting to strict quality standards
  • Be proficient and effective in all aspects of processing operations including repertoire matching, updating and creation of works, cues and productions in the PRS for Music systems
  • Follow best practice at all times and stages of the working process to ensure efficient and accurate payments to members 
  • Work to distribution deadlines whilst meeting departmental targets for both productivity and quality 

About You

The successful applicant will demonstrable computer skills, preferably with experience of operating or interacting with multiple bespoke systems concurrently. You will have a high standard of literacy and numeracy equivalent to GCSE level qualification with good written and verbal communication skills. You have meticulous attention to detail and accuracy and the desire to continually learn. 

Ideally you will have previous experience of working within a high target-driven and/or repetitive data-processing environment.
