We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join us on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. The role will be based across our office in London Bridge and remotely as we operate a hybrid model of working. 

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant with a flair for creating and writing engaging copy of sales collateral and email campaigns to assist the Senior Marketing & Events Manager to deliver the commercial marketing plans for PRS for Music.

You will monitor, track and use the data from the campaigns (such as response rates) to support marketing launches.

You will also provide a copywriting and proof-reading resource for the wider Communications & Public Affairs team, writing adverts and marketing materials, and supporting the overall work of the department. 

Other duties will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Events logistics
  • Invoices and budget processing 
  • Internet based research
  • Contract administration

The salary for this position is circa £26,000 to £31,000 per annum, depending on experience. 

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of copywriting for sales collateral and creating, launching and monitoring measurable email campaigns. You will have experience of cross communication marketing activations for brands and of working with other internal teams such as PR, Social & Digital. You will be technically proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint and have some experience of mailchimp, dot digital or other similar campaign systems. 

You will be the type of person who is outgoing, loves music and is up to date with different music genres and the music industry in general. You will be an extremely organised & proactive team player with excellent interpersonal skills capable of liaising with stakeholders at different levels. You pride yourself on your attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
