All Feature Film Trailer licences include UNLIMITED TAG ENDINGS and UNLIMITED CUT-DOWNS.
Capped Buyout rate of £5,000 – use unlimited production music in feature films with budgets under £3 million.
Capped rate per Trailer – use any amount of production music within a single trailer and pay just twice the rate shown above.
Defined Terms
All Media – whether now known or hereafter devised, including but not limited to TV, radio, online, physical product, theatrical or public location.
Feature Film Buyout – this rate clears the unit for use in perpetuity within All Media whether now known or hereafter devised, including but not limited to TV, radio, online, physical product, theatrical, or public location, but excluding use within ‘out of context’ Feature Film Trailers.
PRS Licence Services that are making the licensed production available over the internet or via mobile networks will also need to have an appropriate PRS licence covering the performing right.
Student Films – A licence is required in all instances, except when the production is being viewed for internal assessment purposes only. There is no limitation on copies.

Please note - An administration fee of £8 will be charged for each licence issued. Rates are quoted in £ sterling for a unit of 30 seconds or part thereof for each separate cue, unless otherwise stated. Aggregation of cues is not permitted unless otherwise stated. All fees are exclusive of VAT.
A licence is not valid until payment has been received by MCPS.
MCPS reserves the right to request a copy of any completed production for verification purposes.
