Corporate use refers to non-broadcast non-retail audio-visual productions, excluding advertising.

For use in:

• Audiovisual and audio-only productions excluding adverts, feature films and trailers
• Corporate videos including training, promo and educational videos
• Exhibition to non-paying audiences
• Showreels

Interactive/looped usage

Interactive/looped use of music charged at £80 per 30 seconds (or part thereof). The interactive rate allows for unrestricted use of the same music file containing a single music cue throughout an entire production, and also applies to the looping of music.

Premium/sponsored products: Music in CDs, CD-ROMs and DVDs or other formats used as incentives to sell other goods or services, or as a generic marketing promotion to the public to build brand loyalty.

PRS for Music licence

Services that make the licensed production available over the internet or via mobile networks will also need to have an appropriate PRS for Music licence to cover the performing right.

* 'Music on hold' applications require both MCPS and PRS for Music permissions. To cover the PRS for Music aspect of the 'Music on hold' licence, please call 0800 068 4828.

Please note

An administration fee of £8 will be charged for each licence issued.

Rates are quoted in £ sterling for a unit of 30 seconds or part thereof for each separate cue, unless otherwise stated.

All fees are exclusive of VAT.

A licence is not valid until payment has been received by MCPS.

MCPS reserves the right to request a copy of any completed production for verification purposes.
