On Thursday 27th October, we once again opened our doors to host the second of several live music events at our London offices. ‘PRS for Music Presents’ showcases a limited number of exclusive performances from both emerging and established PRS for Music writer members.
After the event, Anne-Marie Waugh, CEO, RollaDome said:
RollaDome All Skate uses music a part of our coached roller skating sessions, for young people, as it’s a great motivator and our young people choose their own music… so it’s all about them. Of course the use of music at roller discos is a must and we use our licence here, to give us greater choice, variety and genres of music to reach a wide and diverse audience. I had a great time at the showcase last night, and it was great to see and learn about the work of the PRS Foundation. Great musicians, great music and a great night!
‘PRS for Music Presents’ provides an opportunity to profile the unique talents of our members to customers, politicians, music industry representatives and members of the general public in a unique setting.
Bringing together some of South London's best talent, the line-up for the evening included Bristol-based electronic dance musicians Dr Meaker, DJ producer and soul singer-songwriter Andrew Ashong, and was headlined by critically acclaimed PRS for Music Foundation Momentum artist Ghostpoet.
