Ronnie Wood to play on Starsailor album

Ronnie Wood is to play guitar on Starsailor's upcoming release, provisionallly entitled All The Plans We Made.

The Manchester band asked the Rolling Stone to play on their new album some time ago, but he was busy promoting the Martin Scorcese film Shine a Light.

Much to the band's surprise, they received a call from Wood's son to confirm that his father was keen to contribute his guitaring skills to their follow up to 2005's On The Outside.
