Wombats to release charity Christmas single

Liverpool trio The Wombats have revealed that they are to release a Christmas single called Is It Christmas? on 15 December 2008.

The band are seeking to enlist the talents of Liverpool heroes Les Dennis or Paul O'Grady to provide a spoken-word introduction to the record, the proceeds of which will be donated to the charity MENCAP.

The band will follow the release of Is It Christmas? by releasing a brand new single My Circuitboard City on 9 February 2008.
