Paul Weller earns top spot in album charts

Paul Weller's latest release, 22 Dreams, has gone straight to the top of the UK album charts in its first week of release.

Weller's double-album held off competition from other top ten new entries from Radiohead and The Zutons.

In the singles chart, veteran big beat remixers Mint Royale scored their first number one with a reworking of old favourite Singin' in the Rain.
