UK record sales success in Europe

New statistics released by the BPI reveal that 23 of the 100 best-selling albums in Europe last year were by UK artists.

James Blunt's Back To Bedlam was the biggest-selling album of last year across Europe.

Katie Melua, Coldplay, Depeche Mode, Robbie Williams, Corinne Bailey Rae and James Morrison also featured in the Top 100 best-sellers.
