British Council launch new award for young music entrepreneurs
A new award is being launched by the British Council to support young talent in the British music industry.
The UK Young Music Entrepreneur award has been set up to provide young innovators with the opportunity to broaden their experience in the international music scene by travelling to emerging markets overseas.
The deadline for applications is 6 May 2008 after which an interview process will take place with a judging panel. The winner shall be announced at the London Calling event on 20 June 2008.
Applicants must be aged between 25 and 35 and should have at least three years of experience working in the UK music industry. Click here for further details.
