U2 perform at Cannes

U2 performed on the steps of the Palais at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday night to launch their tour film U2 3D.

The band performed for 15 minutes before festival attendees were allowed in to a screening of the film.

U2 3D is an hour-long concert movie by Catherine Owens and Mark Pellington and viewers were given 3D glasses as they entered the screening.
