Franz Ferdinand and the Ting Tings to play Glastonbury party

Franz Ferdinand and the Ting Tings are to play at the annual Glastonbury end of summer party on 19 September 2008.

The event is intended as a thank you for the residents of Pilton and takes place on Worthy Farm, the same site that stages the Glastonbury Festival.

There will be a bar and catering stalls but no camping facilities.
