The Spitz battles closure

Live music venue The Spitz in Spitalfields, East London is battling against closure.

The building's owner, Ballymore Properties, has issued a notice stating The Spitz has to leave the site within six months.

A campaign is underway to save the venue with support coming from Mayor of London Ken Livingston and PRS member Beth Orton.
