The London Sinfonietta are looking for participants for this year’s London Sinfonietta Academy. If you are a musician who is passionate about new music and have a desire to develop your skills and talents alongside some of the world’s finest contemporary classical musicians, then the London Sinfonietta Academy is a fantastic opportunity.
The London Sinfonietta Academy was Piloted in July 2009. The programme is an intensive course of rehearsals, workshops, masterclasses and a final performance specialising in contemporary classical music.
Participants are selected from around the UK, with open auditions alongside the ensemble’s Principal Players taking place between Monday 19 April and Friday 30 April. Up to thirty of the UK’s finest young musicians will be selected to come together at Kings Place, the London Sinfonietta’s headquarters, to further their performing experience and training.
