Publican 2008 music pub of the year announced

The Horn in St Albans, Hertforshire, has been announced as the winner of The Publican 2008 Music Pub of the Year award, sponsored by PRS.

The venue has established itself as a hotbed of live talent by staging a regular, seven-nights-a-week programme of live bands, DJs and vocalists.

The pub, which has seen performances from the likes of Enter Shikari, The Subways and Mohair, beat off stiff competition including McHughs in Belfast, Riffs Bar in Greatfield, The Brickmakers in Norwich and Chambers in St Helier.
