Songfusion writers' workshop to take place in Iceland

A writers' workshop named Songfusion is being organised by PRS Member Chesney Hawkes and is due to take place in Iceland next month.

The event, which is open to all writers, will be attended by a number of established songwriters and it is hoped that the combination of breathtaking scenery, exclusive use of a hotel and musical pedigree of attendees will result in a richly creative environment within which to make music.

The event will take place at the Hotel Glymur on the banks of the Hvalf Jordur (Whale Lake) between Monday 3 March and Saturday 8 March 2008.  Further details of the event can be found on the Songfusion website or by contacting Chesney Hawkes at c.hawkes@icefusion.eu.
