Scotland's top three music pubs announced

Finalists for the PRS-sponsored Music Pub of the Year Award have been announced.

Held annually, the PRS Music Pub of the Year Award is one of several accolades given out during the Scottish Licensed Trade News (SLTN) Awards to reward excellence in the licensed trade industry.

This year’s winners will be announced at the award ceremony on Thursday 25 October 2007 at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.

PRS would like to congratulate the finalists; The Doghouse – Dundee, The Famous Bein Inn – Perthshire and The Jazz Bar – Edinburgh; who have proved themselves to be three of the best music pubs in Scotland.

These pubs and bars have demonstrated a genuine commitment to music as well as providing a consistently entertaining music schedule to help build their individual appeal but remaining in keeping with the type of bar and their customers.
