Rick Wakeman to play on Henry VIII's home turf

Rick Wakeman is to perform his seminal 1972 album The Six Wives of Henry VIII at Hampton Court in May.

The event will fulfil Wakeman's personal dream of playing at the stately home, which he reports had been in his mind whilst writing the album.

The 1 and 2 May concerts will mark Henry Tudor's ascension to the throne half a century ago.
