The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP), one of Europe’s leading schools of modern music, is conducting some research on songs that are popular in Britain, and would be grateful if you could take a few minutes to complete a simple questionnaire. The research is being conducted by the ICMP together with the University of East London (UEL), and the team here at the PRS has agreed to support this initiative.
The research is aimed at investigating possible connections between popular songs and people’s sense of national identity, and specifically songs that people feel reflect a sense of British identity.
Your responses to this questionnaire will be anonymous, and completing it will take only a few minutes. If you are willing to participate, you can access the questionnaire by following this link.
