Phillips exits Warner UK

Chairman Nick Phillips has announced he will be leaving Warner UK to ‘pursue other opportunities’.

Warner Music International has confirmed his departure, Patrick Vien, WMI’s Chairman/CEO said: ‘Under Nick Phillips’ leadership, Warner Music UK achieved significant milestones through a period of growth and transformation. Nick leaves in place a strong team of UK label heads that ensures our continued success in a evolving business’.

According to a spokesperson for WMI, UK label heads will now report to John Reid, vice chairman of WMI and president of Warner Music Europe.
