Peter Gabriel receives Amnesty International award

Peter Gabriel received the Amnesty International 2008 Ambassador of Conscience award at a ceremony held at London's Hard Rock Cafe on 10 September 2008.

U2 guitarrist and former recipient of the award The Edge was on hand to present the former Genesis singer with the prize.

The human rights campaigning organisation announced that they are to organise a series of gigs around the World between 10 September and 10 December 2008.
