PRS for Music FoundationThe PRS for Music Foundation is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a new name and visual identity, as well as a series of events throughout 2010.

The PRS for Music Foundation’s is the new name for the PRS Foundation. As part of the rebrand an exciting new logo has been created (shown right). The new name and brand celebrates the strong and longstanding relationship with PRS for Music

There will be events and stories as part of the ten-year anniversary celebrations throughout the year, including showcases of British Music Abroad, the launch of New Music Plus in Manchester and Liverpool and the highly anticipated announcement of the winner of the third New Music Award.

The PRS for Music Foundation are supporting and initiating more new music projects than ever before, providing more investment for the sector and are growing their impact across and beyond the UK with international projects. More than £1.8m will be available for new music in 2010, This is great news for the new music sector.

As part of their continued commitment to new music, PRS for Music has renewed its donation to the Foundation, agreeing to invest £1.5million for 2010. Over £13.5m has gone straight to the new music sector in the last 10 years. Guidelines and the new logo can be downloaded from our website here: www.prsformusicfoundation.com/guidelines. If any materials have already gone to print with the previous logo these will not need to be recalled.

The Foundation’s core aim remains the same: to stimulate the creation, performance and promotion of new music, nurturing talent and building audiences for ground breaking work.

How does the new brand affect you?
If you are in receipt of a PRSF grant or work in partnership with us, you will need to:

replace the PRS Foundation logo with the new PRS for Music Foundation logo everywhere it is used on your websites, online platforms, and on all future print

update any references to the PRS Foundation to read “PRS for Music Foundation”

update your links and print to include our new URL: www.prsformusicfoundation.com.
