PRS Foundation announces music award

The PRS Foundation for New Music, in partnership with music retailer Fopp and Clear Sound and Vision has announced its search for the best new unsigned band to win the Fopp Award for New Music.

Now in its fourth year, the award is aimed at music acts across Central and Northern England.

The winners will be given the unique opportunity to have their music promoted and sold in Fopp’s network of 50 stores across the UK, as well as the  opportunity to record, design and press their own three track EP, perform at their local Fopp Store and at a London showcase in front of key music industry professionals.
