Norman Cook to retire Fatboy Slim

Brighton DJ Norman Cook has revealed that he is to retire his celebrated alter-ego Fatboy Slim in favour of a new stage name.

Although Cook has not revealed the identity of his new moniker, it is understood that he is to release a new album under the name Brighton Port Authority.

Cook is due to play Glastonbury and the O2 Wireless Festival under a Fatboy Slim billing suggesting that he may use these shows to sign off his famous pseudonym.
