Noah and the Whale to tour North America

Noah and the Whale have announced a tour of North America in support of the upcoming release of their debut album Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down.

The band, who hail from Twickenham, London, will kick off their tour in New York on 16 September 2008 before taking in Boston, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco.  They will end their stay across the pond by playing a free show at Spaceland in Los Angeles on 6 October 2008.

Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down will be on sale from 16 September.
