Nigel Kennedy to perform at Classical Brits

Violin virtuoso (and celebrated Aston Villa supporter) Nigel Kennedy is to perform at the Classical Brit Awards ceremony on 8 May 2008 at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Nominations for the awards are to be announced at a preview event at a Mayfair hotel in London on 8 April 2008.

Kennedy is perhaps best known for his 1989 recording of Vivaldi's Four Seasons which earned him a place in the Guiness Book of Records for the top-selling classical album in history.
