Mythical Beatles track to be released

Paul McCartney has confirmed the existence of a mythical Beatles track which was recorded in 1967.

McCartney has prompted speculation that the 14-minute experimental track, entitled Carnival of Light, might be released to the public.

Speaking on BBC's Radio 4, McCartney said that his advice to bandmates during the recording session was to: 'wander around all the stuff, bang it, shout, play it; it doesn't need to make any sense.'
