Music to accompany astronauts on upcoming mission

A compilation of specially-selected songs including Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles, John Lennon's Imagine and Elton John's Rocket Man is to accompany astronauts on an upcoming mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

The European Space Agency ran an international competition to select the tracks in which a playlist submitted by Norwegian teenager Therese Miljeteig beat off 1000 other entries.

The music is to be transported up to the ISS on MP3 players in a mission set for blast off on 9 March 2008.
