Music festivals beat the floods.
With tickets selling out in record numbers, high profile music festivals were lucky to escape the torrential rain from the wettest July on record.
Despite the recent floods and weather warnings many festivals such as Lovebox London Weekender hosted by Groove Armada and and Surrey’s Guildfest have seen increases in both ticket sales and attendance.
Over 22 festivals and one-day events have taken place throughout July.
Glastonbury is said to be a significant factor for the rise in popularity seen by festival organisers as it gets people into the festival spirit.
