ArtVinyl have announced the Muse album The Resistance as the winner of Best Art Vinyl 2009. Manic Street Preachers' Journal For Plague Lovers came second and Fever Ray's self titled album third.
Andrew Heeps, Art Vinyl's director said, "this year we've really seen the award grow in stature and it is a great way to celebrate the unsung heroes behind the art and design of some of our favourite bands and artists."
The Best Art Vinyl 2010 winners will be featured in exhibitions at The Art Vinyl Gallery, Basement level, Selfridges London, Rough Trade East, London, Snap Galleries in Birmingham, and Georges House Gallery in Folkestone.
The top 25 winning vinyl records (listed below) will be on sale at the Art Gallery Selfridges.
