Muse awarded honorary doctorates

The members of Devon band Muse have been awarded honorary Doctorates of Arts by the University of Plymouth.

The band, who hail from Teignmouth, received their awards in person dressed in traditional gowns and hats alongside other graduates at a ceremony which took place on 25 September 2008.

Muse were the first musical act to sell out the new Wembley Stadium when they played there in July 2008.
