Morrissey to pen memoirs

Morrissey has revealed in an interview with BBC Radio 2's Janice Long that he is writing his autobiography.

The former Smiths frontman was unable to say how much of the tome he has written or when it will be released but he did mention that the book would span his career in the music industry.

He went on to claim that his forthcoming new album Year of Refusal, due out in February 2009, contains his strongest ever material.
