Members receive new MTV Award

MTV has announced an award for its most-played music videos with Platinum and Gold categories.

To receive the Platinum award a music video must have been played more than 6,000 times during a 6 month period with 3,000 plays for a Gold award.

Kaiser Chiefs have received the Platinum award for Ruby. Gold awards go to Amy Winehouse's Rehab, Arctic Monkeys' Brianstorm, Bloc Party's The Prayer, James Morrison's Wonderful World and Just Jack's Starz in their Eyes.
