McCartney to maintain link with EMI
Sir Paul McCartney is to continue his relationship with EMI, despite announcements last week that the Beatle singer has signed a new deal with Starbucks.
EMI will retain the singer’s solo, Wings and Beatles back catalogues and EMI Classics, who released his 2006 Ecce Cor Meum album, will continue to release McCartney's classical recordings.
McCartney is currently working on a guitar concerto and it is expected that this will be released through EMI Classics.
The one-off album with Starbucks label Hear Music is due to be released in June.
