McCartney to be honoured at Brits

PRS member, Sir Paul McCartney, is to receive the Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the 2008 Brit Awards.

Previous recipients of the award include Oasis, U2, Paul Weller, Tom Jones, Sting, David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Eurythmics, The Beatles and The Who.

McCartney will be performing at the 2008 ceremony which takes place on 20 February at Earls Court, London.
