McCartney signs to Starbucks

Sir Paul McCartney has been named as the first signing to Starbucks music label, Hear Music.

This announcement marks the ending of a 43 year relationship with the singer and EMI Music.

McCartney’s as-yet-untitled album is scheduled to be released in shops in early June. Customers will be able to purchase the album at Starbucks 13,000 stores worldwide and through Apple iTunes.
