McCartney wows crowd at homecoming show

Sir Paul McCartney played a gig at Liverpool's Anfield stadium in front of 36,000 revellers on 1 June 2008.

The show was organised as part of celebrations at Liverpool's selection as European Capital of Culture for 2008.

McCartney played a set which included songs from his bands The Beatles and Wings and was supported by Kaiser Chiefs and The Zutons amongst other acts.
