Manics to release Edwards-penned material

Manic Street Preachers are to release an album containing lyrics penned by missing member Richey Edwards.

The Welsh trio plan to release the album, provisionally entitled Journal For Plague Lovers in spring 2009.

Bassist Nicky Wire has suggested that the release could be seen as a follow-up to1994's The Holy Bible, the band's last release before Edwards' disappearance in 1995.
