Manics to play one-off London gig

The Manic Street Preachers have confirmed that they are to play a one-off gig at London's Royal Festival Hall on 12 September 2008.

The Welsh act are to participate in the Forever Heavenly festival at London's South Bank Centre which will mark the 18th birthday of the Heavenly record label.

Other acts scheduled to perform at the three-day event invclude Doves, Beth Orton and Cherry Ghost.
