M.I.A.'s Paper Planes set for UK release

M.I.A.'s Paper Planes is set to be released in the UK following on from a successful run in the US charts.

The single, taken from the London artists' second album Kala, was used in a movie trailer in the States and subsequently peaked at number five in the US Billboard Hot 100.

Paper Planes will be released in the UK on 13 October 2008 and will be followed by the release of a new, expanded version of Kala.
