PRS for Music Members Benevolent FundIntroducing the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund

The PRS Members Fund is being re-branded as the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund.

2009 is the Fund’s 75th birthday. If it is to remain relevant for the next 75 years it needs to think of fresh, new ways of raising awareness of what it does - providing vital financial support for songwriters, composers and publishers in need.

So from 19 June 2009 it has a new name and identity – the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund.

By sharing the PRS for Music brand, its new identity will represent it more effectively; it’s bold, clear and confident. It will connect PRS for Music members to their charity and will allow it to help raise awareness of everything that the Members Benevolent Fund does.

As the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund, it will continue to provide assistance to members and ex-members of the Performing Right Society and their families.

You can find out more about the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund by visiting www.prsformusicfund.com.

To celebrate its 75th anniversary, the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund is holding a concert to raise money on 25 October at the Royal Albert Hall. Called Helping The Heart Of Music, the concert features some very special guests including Mick Hucknall, Melanie C, Chris Difford, Robin Gibb and Bill Wyman.
