Headline acts announced for The World Fleadh music festival

Katie Melua, Deacon Blue and The Proclaimers have been announced as headline acts for The World Fleadh music festival in Ireland on Sunday 12 August 2007.

The World Fleadh festival is an international event with more than 640 musicians performing over seven days to a crowd of 50,000 people.

The festival consists of over 200 events held across 20 different venues in the Irish city of Portlaoise with dance, song and musical demonstrations and competitions being held by top musicians.
